Help sustain WRV with a monthly gift

The Stewardship Society is a community of dedicated supporters who understand that caring for the land goes hand in hand with caring for people. At Wildlands Restoration Volunteers (WRV), our mission is to heal the land and build community through ecological restoration—bringing people together to restore forests, rivers, and open spaces while fostering a deeper connection to the natural world. This work not only improves ecosystem health and resilience, but also creates meaningful opportunities for individuals to learn, grow, and contribute to something larger than themselves.

Members of the Stewardship Society play a vital role in making this mission possible. By giving monthly, they provide WRV with dependable, year-round funding that sustains our restoration projects, volunteer programs, and community outreach efforts. This reliable support allows us to plan ahead, respond to emerging needs, and ensure that every season brings new opportunities for hands-on restoration. Simply put, monthly donors are the foundation of our work—they make it possible for WRV to consistently show up for the land and the communities who care for it. About Wildlands Restoration Volunteers

Wildlands Restoration Volunteers is dedicated to healing the land and building community. Since 1999, when a small group gathered to plant willows at Heron Pond in Pella Crossing, WRV has grown into a statewide organization supporting more than 100 restoration projects each year.

With a robust volunteer leadership program, WRV volunteers contribute over $1 million in labor and expertise annually, restoring lands impacted by floods, fires, and recreation. Learn more about WRV’s mission and how to get involved at www.wrv.org.
